Kwesi Nyantakyi Supports Kennedy Agyapong’s Presidential Campaign

Accra:Kwesi Nyantakyi, the former President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), has publicly backed Kennedy Agyapong's campaign for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) presidential primaries. Nyantakyi demonstrated his support by actively canvassing in the Nadowli Kaleo Constituency of the Upper West Region.

According to Ghana Web, Nyantakyi appeared in a widely shared video on social media, where he addressed a gathering in the local dialect, urging them to support Agyapong. During the event, Agyapong was seen seated quietly, nodding in agreement as Nyantakyi spoke.

Despite this active campaigning, Kennedy Agyapong eventually lost the flagbearer contest to Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the former Vice-President, who secured a decisive victory. After this political involvement, Nyantakyi has largely withdrawn from the political scene, focusing on his private business ventures.

Agyapong, however, continues his campaign efforts across Ghana, presenting himself as a bold and outspoken candidate. His campaign promises include prioritizing discipline, industrial growth, and job creation.
