Kwabena Boakye Invokes Curses on Media Personality Abro Over Vivian Jill Accusations

Accra: The ongoing tension between Ghanaian actor Kwabena Boakye and media personality Abro has escalated as the actor publicly invoked curses in response to comments made about him. The conflict stems from Abro's recent interview on Royal TV, where he criticized Boakye in relation to allegations involving actress Vivian Jill.

According to Ghana Web, Abro alleged that Kwabena Boakye had been apprehended by the Ghana Police Service and claimed to have personally assisted in securing his release. Furthermore, Abro asserted that Boakye's fame was largely due to the support and exposure provided by Vivian Jill.

In reaction to these statements, Kwabena Boakye, expressing his displeasure, publicly invoked curses against Abro. A video circulating on social media, sighted by GhanaWeb, shows Boakye pouring libation while issuing the curses. Boakye strongly refuted Abro's claims, stating that it was his friend, not himself, who had been arrested, and that he was responsible for securing his friend's release.

During the ritual, Boakye called upon the gods of Techiman to judge the situation, emphasizing that Abro had no involvement in the matter. He declared, "Nana, I am not from Techiman, but we are here to work, and I have heard how powerful you are. There is a man called Abro who is claiming online that I was arrested and that he was the one who bailed both my friend and me. But that was not the case. He played no role in the matter."

Boakye further stated that if Abro regrets his comments, he should publicly apologize on social media. Boakye concluded that if anyone attempts to reverse the curses, the gods should intervene, and he remains open to reconciliation if Abro acknowledges his alleged falsehoods publicly.
