Kumasi:The First National Vice Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kojo Fosu Boadu, popularly known as Kojo Bamba, has emphasized the enduring professional relationship he shares with the party's Second National Vice Chairman, Henry Nana Boakye, also known as Nana B. Bamba has reiterated that Nana B remains his boss, despite their new roles within the party.
According to Ghana Web, Bamba has dismissed any notion of discord between the two, highlighting their long-standing working relationship. He addressed rumors suggesting past conflicts, stating, "People think we have issues, but we don't, and we won't have any issues."
Claims have circulated that Bamba once worked as Nana B's driver and bodyguard. However, Nana B has refuted these claims, clarifying that Bamba's responsibilities were centered on operations and security during his tenure as the National Youth Organiser and later as the National Organiser of the NPP. Nana B affirmed, "He was never my driver. He was never my bodyguard."
In addition to clarifying their professional history, Nana B has expressed confidence in Bamba's capabilities, particularly in contributing to the party's aim to regain power in the 2028 general elections. Bamba's recent election as the First National Vice Chairman saw him secure 3,116 votes, surpassing 12 other candidates in the national executive elections held in Kumasi on October 3, 2026.
