Keta: Some New Patriotic Party (NPP) faithful in the Keta constituency of the Volta Region have commended and congratulated the five presidential aspirants who have signed a peace pact ahead of the party's primaries. The signing of the peace pact, which took place on Thursday, January 22, was seen as a significant step towards ensuring a peaceful and harmonious election process.
According to Ghana News Agency, Mr. Seth Kwashie Tettey, a party supporter, expressed that the five aspirants who signed the peace pact are expected to abide by the agreements, which would promote peaceful competition and acceptance of the election's outcome. "The flagbearer election will be held in various constituency centres across the country, and we are happy about the signing of the peace pact ahead of the elections to promote peace and understanding afterwards," he said.

Meanwhile, a total of 671 delegates in the Keta Constituency will exercise their franchise at Vodza R.C basic school premises on Saturday, January 31, to elect among aspirants such as Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia, Mr. Kennedy Agyapong, Dr. Bryan Acheampong, Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum, and Mr. Kwabena Agyei Agyepong in the upcoming NPP presidential primaries.
