Kasapin: Chief Inspector Ambrose Obeng Baah, the Station Officer at Kasapin Police Station in the Asunafo North Municipality, has made an urgent appeal for logistical support to enhance police operations. The station, which oversees 56 communities, is in need of essential resources, including a pick-up vehicle, office computers, a printer, and other necessary stationery.
According to Ghana News Agency, the appeal was made during a visit by Mr. Haruna Mohammed, the Member of Parliament for Asunafo North, who donated two brand-new motorbikes to the station. Chief Inspector Baah highlighted that the existing logistical challenges are a significant barrier to effective crime prevention in the area. He emphasized that modern policing requires community involvement and called for public support to aid the police in their mission to protect lives and property.
At the brief ceremony in Kasapin, Mr. Mohammed committed to continuing his support for the police to improve their operations in the region. He noted that the newly donated motorbikes would enhance the officers' ability to respond swiftly to crime alerts, thereby bolstering security in the local communities. Furthermore, Mr. Mohammed assured the police that he would leverage his lobbying skills to secure a pick-up vehicle to further augment their operational capacity.
