Accra: Son of the late Apostle Kwadwo Safo Kantanka and current Head of the Kantanka family, Nana Kwadwo Safo Akofena, has voiced his frustration at not being able to see his father's body a year after his passing. The situation has caused distress within the family, as they have been unable to perform traditional rites.
According to Ghana Web, the delay in viewing Apostle Safo's body has also led to uncertainty regarding the future of the church he devoted his life to establishing. The family is considering legal action to resolve the burial dispute and regain control over the church's direction.
Nana Kwadwo Safo Akofena highlighted that the disruptions within the church have confused its followers, with internal conflicts stalling its operations. He expressed concern that the legacy of his father, who owned the majority stake in the church, is at risk.
He further alleged that a woman has taken over the church's affairs, complicating efforts for a seamless transition. "We were thinking we could make things go smoothly, but one woman has hijacked everything and she's doing her own thing," he stated, underscoring the family's determination to address these challenges legally.
