Joseph Yammin has been elected National Organiser of the NDC.
He beats the incumbent Joshua Akamba including five others Sidii Abubakar Musah, Solomon Yaw Nkansah, Chief Hamilton Biney Nixon, Mahdi Muhammed Girbrill and Henry Osei Akoto.
He polled 3730 votes to become the winner at the 10th National Congress held at the Accra Sports Stadium on December 17.
The Deputy National Organisers Barlon Kobby and Elikem Eric Kwame Kotoko polled 3388 and 2630 respectively.
The new executives have been sworn in at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday, December 18.
About 9,000 NDC delegates drawn from the 16 regions of the country took part in the election to elect new national executives who will champion the party’s call for victory in 2024.
The congress was under the theme “Rallying for Victory 2024.”
