‘In Man’s Libido’ shows tomorrow at National theatre

Accra, Oswalds Play House.Kom is set to organise a 31st century, stage play, In Man’s Libido on December 29, at the national theatre folks place.

The production, dubbed In Man’s Libido is alleged to add to the usual focus on relationships, issues related to politics, fishing illegalities and a bit of social problems in Ghanaian communities.

Speaking to the Ghana news Agency (GNA) in an interview, Mr Oswald Okaitei, the playwright and poet said the play would explore other aspects of national lives and some of the choices Ghanaians make daily.

He said the performance would be filled with drama and humour, adding that the cast was fully prepped up to make audiences happier.

He however told the GNA that, the show that was initially scheduled for two productions, would now look forward to a single production at 1800 hours.

Oswald and Sons and other Poets would precede the production with spoken words and musical performance.

Surrounded by lots of people amidst some famous poets, he said the audience would laugh and continue doing so till the end of the show.

He said it would be entertaining and educative and therefore encouraged all to get tickets and occupy the last seat at the National Theatre, folks place for the most hilarious stage drama.

Mr Okaitei, the renowned playwright and poet, has been one of the most successful youngmen in the theatre production company in the country and won the spoken word artist of the year in 2016.
