Accra: Mr Christian Tetteh Yohuno, the Inspector-General of Police (IGP), and members of the Police Management Board (POMAB) have paid a courtesy call on Mr John Kwadwo Gyapong, the Oti Regional Minister, as part of the Police Administration's working visit to the region.
According to Ghana News Agency, Mr Yohuno assured the Regional Minister of the Police Service's continued support for the region and reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining law and order. The police emphasized their strong presence in the region, vowing to intensify efforts to combat crime and bring perpetrators to justice.
Mr Gyapong commended the Ghana Police Service for its role in maintaining peace and security, particularly in the fight against armed robbery and other criminal activities. He appealed for more police personnel and additional operational vehicles to strengthen policing in the area, urging the Service to remain resolute in tackling all forms of crime.
