I respect the decision of Samuel Boadu – Kofi Kordzi speaks after being left out of Hearts of Oak squad against Kotoko

Hearts of Oak striker, Kofi Kordzi has said there is no bad blood between him and his head coach, Samuel Boadu despite being left out of the club’s squad for the 2022 President’s Cup.

The bulky forward was not part of the game-day squad against the Asante Kotoko on Friday in a game that was staged at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Kordzi has been enduring a torrid time at the club due to lack of game time with multiple reports suggesting that the forward is unhappy at the club.

But speaking in an interview, the 27-year-old said he was not worried about the decision of the coach to leave him out of the squad against the Porcupine Warriors.

According to him, he is nursing an injury and the objective is to see the team winning.

“I am not worried I wasn’t included in the matchday squad for the game but the win is what matters,” he told Precise FM.

“I have no issues with the coach,Samuel Boadu. He dropped me from the squad because I had an injury and I have no problem with him.

“The media is entitled to their opinion and I cannot do anything about it,” he added.

Hearts of Oak will be hoping to build up on their 2-1 win against Kotoko when they play WAFA on Wednesday at the Accra Sports Stadium in the matchday 19 games.
