Asante Kotoko head coach, Seydou Zerbo has implored fans to limit expectations of the team in the CAF Champions League.
According to him, while he is ready to give his all to the team, he cannot promise that the Porcupine Warriors will finish this season’s CAF Champions League as the winners.
Speaking to the press ahead of the game against RC Kadiogo, Coach Seydou Zerbo said, “I can’t promise winning the champions league within one year but what I can assure every supporter is that I will make good use of the materials available.”
He admits that the upcoming match against RC Kadiogo will be tough but is confident Asante Kotoko can win with the help of the supporters.
“It’s a big game and the difference will be the supporters. Everywhere you go in Europe you will see the supporters being the number twelve man so if they really have the team at heart, then they should be here on Sunday,” Coach Seydou Zerbo added.
The encounter between Asante Kotoko and RC Kadiogo will be played at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Sunday, September 18, 2022.
