Attorney General Godfred Yeboah Dame has expressed confidence that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) will break the eight-year political cycle in the upcoming 2024 general elections. According to him, there is a clear and compelling message as the key differentiator from the National Democratic Congress (NDC). In an interview with the media in Sunyani, following a closed-door meeting with top party executives in the Bono Region, Dame emphasized the clarity of the NPP's message compared to the NDC's. "I am very confident because our message is quite clear, and the message of the NDC can't be seen," myjoyonline.com quoted him as saying. He criticized the NDC's inability to explain their main campaign message of a 24-hour economy, asserting that the NPP, led by Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has a stronger appeal to the electorate. The Attorney General highlighted the importance of unity within the party to achieve their goal. He urged party members to put aside past challenges and divisions, particularly those that ar ose during the selection of candidates for each constituency. "They must put behind all the challenges and divisions that occurred in the selection of a candidate for each constituency," he said. "We have to be bold in propagating all the achievements that we have chalked up over the past eight years and preach all the messages we have for Ghanaians," he added. Source: Ghana Web
