Accra, July 15, GNA – Women’s Premier League (WPL) giants, Hasaacas Ladies will host Danish side, FC Nordsjaelland in a pre-season game at the Nduom Sports Complex on Saturday, July 23.
The two sides would use this opportunity to prepare ahead of the 2022/2023 season.
FC Nordsjaelland would be the first European Women’s club to visit Ghana for a friendly encounter against one of the giants in Women’s football in Ghana.
The visiting team is known to be one of the best performing teams in the Danish Women’s League, having won the 2022 Danish Cup and also finished third in the Elite Division in that same year.
This would also boost the level of confidence of the Ghanaian side ahead of the forthcoming season after failing to win the WPL title and the Women’s MTN FA Cup.
The FC Nordsjaelland team is expected to arrive in Ghana Sunday, July 17 to acclimatize and ready for the West Africa champions.
