Duayaw-nkwanta: Dr Gideon Boako, the Member of Parliament for Tano North Constituency in the Ahafo Region, has commended the delegates in the region for voting for the former Vice President Alhaji Dr Mahamudu Bawumia in the recently concluded presidential primary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP). He expressed his satisfaction with the election outcomes, highlighting that the results accurately represented the delegates' will.
According to Ghana News Agency, Dr Boako, while interacting with the media at Duayaw-Nkwanta, the capital of the Tano North constituency, expressed his gratitude alongside the former Vice President towards the delegates for their substantial support. He emphasized the importance of Bawumia as the party's flagbearer to secure an electoral victory in the 2028 elections. Dr Boako also praised the NPP Presidential Election Committee for ensuring that the elections were conducted freely, fairly, and credibly, satisfying all stakeholders involved.
