Ghanaian Musician Iona Reine Accuses Pastors of Misconduct

Accra:Ghanaian musician Iona Reine has made serious allegations against some pastors, claiming they engage in behaviors that starkly contradict the values they preach. She voiced her concerns during an interview on Aluta FM, where she accused several religious leaders of acts she described as "nasty," including inappropriate relationships with female church members.

According to Ghana Web, Iona claimed that some pastors have been involved in acts such as raping women in their offices and church auditoriums. She asserted that this misconduct has led certain church members to lose faith and cease attending church services.

Iona further alleged that there are pastors who introduce male church members to homosexuality and others who exploit their female congregants by luring them into their offices under the guise of professional meetings. She expressed disappointment that such actions are perpetrated by those expected to provide spiritual leadership and protection.

The musician also declared her willingness to expose any pastor who engages in such misconduct, regardless of their personal connection to her. She noted her previous marriage to Pastor Nana Kwame Okrah, which ended in 2026, emphasizing that she is no longer available for marriage.
