Dr. Bonaa explained that the government has become more vigilant about the risks associated with gun violence, indicating a shift in policy towards stricter firearm control. He also detailed the procedures in place for monitoring firearms imported into Ghana, highlighting that every box of firearms is opened and inspected to ensure compliance with regulations.
