Ghana Offers Strong Case for Long-Term Mining Investment, Says Cardinal Namdini CEO

Tianjin: The Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Cardinal Namdini Mining Limited, Wang Jinguan, has made a strong case for Ghana as a preferred destination for mining investment in Africa. He was speaking at the Ghana Day event, held as part of the 28th China International Mining Conference and Exhibition (China Mining 2026) at the Meijiang Convention Center in Tianjin, China.

According to Ghana Web, Wang Jinguan addressed global investors, mining executives, and government officials, emphasizing that Ghana remains open for business and presents a compelling case for long-term mining investment. 'Namdini demonstrates what is possible when world-class resources, responsible mining, and strategic partnerships come together,' he stated.

Wang Jinguan outlined three key pillars anchoring Ghana's status as Africa's premier mining investment destination. Firstly, Ghana is Africa's leading gold producer with a proven world-class resource base. The Namdini Gold Project, developed by Cardinal Namdini Mining Limited, a subsidiary of Shandong Gold, exemplifies that potential.

Secondly, Ghana offers a stable democracy and rule of law, ensuring investor protection and providing a safe environment for long-term investment. Thirdly, the country has an attractive mining regulatory framework, with clear laws and robust government support for responsible mining.

Wang Jinguan emphasized Cardinal Namdini Mining Limited's commitment to delivering a world-class gold asset and building sustainable value through the Ghana-China partnership. The company is also exploring regional growth opportunities beyond Namdini, including resource expansion around Namdini, regional exploration programs, and the Sabronum Project in the Ahafo Ano District of the Ashanti Region.

The Ghana Day event is part of Ghana's strategic drive to attract foreign direct investment into its mining sector at the 2026 China Mining Conference.
