GFA Charges Asante Kotoko and Debibi United Over Match Highlight Delay

Berekum: The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has charged Asante Kotoko and Debibi United for allegedly failing to publish video highlights of their Ghana Premier League match within the stipulated 48-hour period. This charge pertains to their 2026/27 Ghana Premier League fixture held at the Golden City Park in Berekum.

According to Ghana Web, both clubs are accused of breaching Article 38(8)(d) of the Ghana Premier League Regulations, 2025, which mandates clubs to release match highlights within 48 hours after the completion of a game. "Asante Kotoko SC and Debibi United have been charged with a breach of Article 38(8)(d) of the Ghana Premier League Regulations, 2025," the GFA stated.

The Association further alleges that the two clubs failed to meet the required deadline for publishing footage of the match. "It is alleged that both clubs failed to publish video highlights of the match within forty-eight (48) hours after the game," the statement added.

Asante Kotoko and Debibi United have until Friday, September 11, 2026, to respond to the charges.
