The embassy cautioned that in the event of such closures, there would be limited support available from both the embassy and the Foreign Office.
German nationals in Israel have been advised to install a mobile app that alerts users to imminent missile threats. Additionally, in light of the heightened security situation, they are encouraged to gather essential supplies and become familiar with local protection measures and shelters.
The Foreign Office has also highlighted a possible decline in security conditions in Lebanon, Israel's neighboring country. The German embassy in Beirut suggested that flight restrictions could be imposed without notice if tensions escalate further. Germans in Lebanon are urged to stay informed about travel and security advisories and to secure necessities such as food, water, and fuel.
