Accra: The Ghana Education Service (GES) has announced the release of funds to all senior high and technical schools to cover the practical components of the 2026 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE).
According to Ghana News Agency, a statement from Mr. Daniel Fenyi, the Head of Public Relations at GES, confirmed that the payment will ensure full support for all scheduled practical examinations. This includes the provision of necessary materials and other essential resources required for the practical segment of the exams.
The statement further explained that the release of these funds is aimed at facilitating a smooth and well-coordinated examination process. This move allows students to concentrate on their academic pursuits without imposing any financial burden on parents and guardians.
Additionally, the GES management will oversee the utilization of the funds to ensure compliance and uphold high standards in the administration of the examinations.
