Federation retains Mohammed Shahnoon as President

Accra, Dec. 28, GNA – The Ghana Cycling Federation (GCF) has retained Mr. Mohammed Shanoon Baadea as President.

He was elected together with three others executives for the next four years.

Mr. Baadea went unopposed after his contender Mr. Larbi Kwabena withdrew from the race, while Mr. Riyald Mohammed has been appointed as the Vice President.

Mr. Mohammed Shaaban former Technical Director has also be appointed as the General Secretary, Dennis Kwaku Moore former General Secretary now the Public Relations Officer and Daniel Amo the new Technical Director.

Below are the newly elected Executives, Mr. Mohammed Shanoon Baadea (President), – Riyald Mohammed (Vice President), Mr. Mohammed Shaaban (Secretary General), Joseph Addo (Deputy Secretary Genera), Mr. Bright Kwaasi Nyarko (Treasurer), Mr. Ali Umar (Deputy Treasurer), Agnes Owusua (Women’s Commissioner).

The regional representative included Mohammed Riyadhd- Eastern, Oku Albert Nii Ayi-Greater Accra, Ametor Amen-Volta, Dzikunu Caesar-Ashanti, Mohammed Inusah- Western, Addo Joseph Kwame- Central, Zakari Abdul-Wahab-North East, Ali Umar-Northern, Boateng Charles Nsiah- Bono Ahafo and Kwabena Larbi-Savannah.
