Accra: After several months of intense drama on social media, it appears that the family of the late Ghanaian Highlife legend, Daddy Lumba, has finally found common ground to resolve their differences. It would be recalled that Ernestina Fosu, the elder sister of the late musician, recently arrived in the country for the celebration of his life and was later seen at the funeral ceremony of her young sister, Faustina Fosu's son.
According to Ghana Web, at the funeral, held on March 26, 2026, Ernestina Fosu, who was present to mourn the passing of her nephew, identified as Derrick, was seen engaging in a conversation with Faustina Fosu. Speaking to the media during the ceremony, Ernestina Fosu stated that the family is now at peace, adding that there is no longer any feud between the two sisters.
She emphasized that despite recent tensions, she has never had any quarrel with Faustina, and their bond remains strong. Faustina was previously aligned with the camp of the sacked Abusuapanyin, Kofi Owusu, during their legal disputes, yet the sisters maintained their familial connection. Ernestina expressed, 'Faustina and I have never fought. Our mother gave birth to only three of us, and we did everything together. Even when I gave birth, it was my mother who took care of me. Some people may have tried to create confusion, but as long as God lives, we are blood, and nothing can separate us.'
The sisters also directed a cryptic message to the sacked Abusuapanyin, highlighting the importance of respect and their reliance on divine justice. They remarked, 'In this world, being respectful is very important. If someone deliberately tries to prevent me from mourning my brother, there is God. This person did not allow me to see my brother's body. When we were going through difficulties in life, where were you? We have handed the matter over to God because we do not have the strength to fight, but God will judge you.'
