ECG Provides Alternative Contact Options After Helpline Disruption

Accra:Customers seeking assistance from the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) will have to use social media or email after a fibre cut disrupted its contact centre telephone line.

According to Ghana Web, ECG confirmed that its contact centre number, 0302 611 611, is out of service, and a timeline for restoration has not been provided. The company stated that its technical team is working with the service provider to restore the connection as soon as possible.

Customers have been advised to use alternative channels to submit enquiries and requests for assistance. They can email [email protected] or contact ECG through @ECGghOfficial on Facebook, X, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn.

The company apologized for the inconvenience caused but did not specify the location of the fibre cut, its cause, or the expected duration for repairs. The disruption means that customers temporarily cannot use the contact centre telephone line and must rely on email and social media for assistance.
