Accra: Doctor Drill, the husband of well-known TikToker Adwoa Pretty, has addressed the controversy caused by a leaked audio recording involving his wife. Despite the incident causing disappointment within his family, Doctor Drill remains steadfast in his support of Adwoa Pretty.
According to Ghana Web, Doctor Drill, speaking in an interview on The Delay Show alongside his wife, acknowledged the significant impact the controversy had on both families. However, he noted that the situation has since calmed. “This issue is a big one, so no one was happy about it. My family was disappointed in her, but for now, things are calm,” he stated.
Doctor Drill emphasized his commitment to protecting his wife from any further family pressure regarding the incident. He declared, “I will 100% cover my wife up and protect her when my family starts to mount pressure on her again.”
In the interview, Doctor Drill also revealed that this was not the first controversy involving Adwoa Pretty. He shared that he has consistently advised her to be cautious, as critics often target her marriage during disputes. “This wasn’t the first time she has done something like this. What I’ve realised is that when she has issues with people, they don’t attack her but rather come after her marriage,” he explained.
Despite these challenges, Doctor Drill expressed his belief that Adwoa Pretty has learned from the incident and is unlikely to repeat the same mistake. “I’ve advised her several times, but she’s stubborn. For now, she has learnt her lesson, so I don’t think she will do such a thing again,” he concluded.
