CTVET Announces Provisional Results for May/June 2026 Technical Examinations

Accra: The Commission for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (CTVET) has announced the release of the provisional results for the 2026 May/June Certificate II and other Technical examinations. A total of 61,506 candidates participated in these examinations, comprising 45,157 males and 16,149 females, with 36,874 candidates achieving general passes.

According to Ghana News Agency, the CTVET's Public Relations Unit released a statement indicating that this year's candidate count reflects an 11.23 percent increase compared to the 55,295 candidates who took the examinations in 2025. The general passes accounted for approximately 62.45 percent of the total candidates.

Candidates are advised to check their results online at https://examination.ctvet.gov.gh using their Index Numbers and Unique Reference Numbers found on their index slips. The Certificate II examinations included two components: Core Components, which cover English Language, Mathematics, Integrated Science, Social Studies, and Entrepreneurship, and Elective Components, which focus on Trade or Professional Area programs.

The statement also noted that the results of six candidates have been withheld due to suspected examination malpractices, pending further investigation. Additionally, some candidates' results have been withheld due to administrative issues and will be released once these issues are resolved.
