A supposed celebrity profile interview on GTV today turned emotional as actress and gender advocate Kafui Danku shed uncontrollable tears recounting a story she was told by a lady on her social media handle.
Speaking in the interview, Kafui who was initially all confident when she outlined her plans for the future of women and children suddenly break down in uncontrollable tears.
Outlining some of her humanitarian plans, Kafui indicated that if she was ever going to be the president of Ghana for just 24 hours, she was going to make sure every child gets to enjoy their growing-up days.
She said it has always been a disappointment knowing that most individuals grow up not happy and cannot recall any form of joy while growing up because they were abused. She added that there are going to be sanctions for anyone who deprives any child of his or her happiness.
“A girl on my Facebook told me a story and I was crying; she was molested by this person who couldn’t get an erection but ended up using a bottle on her and that made me so sad because she was only 8 years at the time. I was so sad and she didn’t see the reason why I was crying,” she narrated amidst uncontrollable tears.
Kafui Danku who doubles as a movie producer has for the past two years rendered her social media page, to the average Ghanaian youth where she listens to the plights on an anonymous basis.
She sometimes helps young ones in getting employment, financial support, and emotional guidance.
