Hiplife singer Skewface says fellow singer Castro’s disappearance has taken something from his music career.
According to the ‘Gbalagazaa’ hitmaker, his bond with Castro was a great one which manifested in their collaborations.
“Funny enough, you know I am saying this on TV because when Castro left he actually took a thing away from me, you know a part of me because the kind of bond I have with him is crazy. Anytime you put us on a tune it’s crazy.
“After his disappearance, I found it difficult to feature anybody because I don’t feel the bonding in there, no disrespect but it’s just not there,” he said.
The two had several collaborations like ‘Abongo Lorry’, ‘Bue Bue’, ‘Ay33’ which happened to be their last collaboration in 2014 among several other songs.
Born Theophilus Tagoe, Castro allegedly drowned while jet skiing at Ada in 2014.
He went together with his friend, former Black Stars skipper Asamoah Gyan, and a lady friend whose name was given as Janet Bandu.
