CACI, Central West Territory organizes prayer retreat for the youth

Pepease (C/R), Jan. 09, GNA – The leadership of the Christ Apostolic Church International (CACI) Central West Territory Youth has organized a prayer retreat to empower the youth to have an encounter with God.

The day’s prayer retreat was to rekindle the spirit of the youth to enable them to face the challenges that they may encounter before them this year.

Delivering the sermon at the retreat, Prophet Prince Amoah, the Guest Speaker of the Retreat advised the youth to inculcate in them the habit of praying to be able to stand firm when tribulation comes their way.

The youth, drawn from five youth ministries in the territory were advised to bring back the fire that their forefathers used in building the church.

Citing examples, Prophet Amoah urged them to be strong as Apostle Peter Newman, Founder of the Church, Apostle Owiredu among other leaders who dedicated their lives and souls to work for God and save the people.

Adding that as humans, our core mandate on earth was to save the lost souls and bring them back to Christ.

He called on the youth to rise up as they were the pillars and foundation of the church that when they fall, the church would also fall.

Prophet Amoah told them that 2022 would not be an easy year but the God of their fathers would help them overcome the challenges all they needed was prayers.

He said the fervent prayer of the righteous could cause the heavens to open for more blessings, hence, charged them to never relent on their prayers.

Mr Jude Govinah, the Territorial Youth Leader charged the youth to be disciples of all nations and this could be achieved by seeking the face of God to be able to go out and preach the word to all people anywhere they found themselves.

The youth sang praises, danced, and prayed fervently to the Most High and God for His miraculous work and blessings over them.

The about 150 youths were drawn from Cape Coast, Assin Fosu, Mankessim and Twifo Praso Circuits, and other locals within the Territory.
