Black Stars: Otto Addo cautions Abdul Fatawu Issahaku ahead of 2022 World Cup

Ghana coach, Otto Addo has cautioned youngster, Abdul Fatawu Issahaku to be more precise with his shots in front of goal.

Abdul Fatawu Issahaku has been amazing since making his debut for the Black Stars this year.

The 18-year-old scored the only one in Ghana’s victory over Nicaragua in a friendly last week Tuesday in Spain in the second international friendly game.

With less than three months to the kick start the Mundial, Otto Addo has advised Issahaku Abdul Fatawu to be calm and shot with precision instead of power.

“He’s a very good winger, who shoots with power, but sometimes he needs to calm down and be more precise with the shot instead of kicking it with full power,” he said.

“You have to feel free to do those runs between the lines, go one-on-one and when you have the opportunity, use your left foot gently. If you do that, I know it will be accurate enough to score,” he added.

Ghana have been housed in Group H alongside Portugal, South Korea, and Uruguay.

The 22nd edition of the global showpiece will kick off on November 20 to December 18.
