Assemblyman Praises Government’s Progress on Ho-Aflao Road Project

Adaklu:The Assemblyman for Adaklu Wumenu, Mr. Christopher Galenkui, has expressed his approval of the ongoing development on the Ho-Aflao road, part of the government's 'Big Push' Road initiative. He emphasized that the visible progress on this project is not mere political rhetoric but a tangible achievement.

According to Ghana News Agency, Mr. Galenkui commended both the government and the contractor responsible for the roadworks. He highlighted the significant improvements in the road condition, which have provided much-needed relief from the anxiety caused by its previously deplorable state.

The road project passes through several communities, including Agbokofe, Wayanu, Adaklu Wumenu, Kpogadzi, Kpovienu, and Tedefeafenui. The Assemblyman noted that the road's former condition had led to numerous accidents and fatalities, making its transformation a critical milestone for the area.

Mr. Galenkui expressed optimism that the completion of the road would attract investors, improve living standards, and facilitate the transportation of goods, especially for local farmers. He highlighted the project's potential to enhance road safety, accessibility, and overall development in the electoral area.

He also urged drivers and road users to exercise caution during the ongoing construction to prevent accidents. Mr. Galenkui had previously appealed to the government to address the road's condition, citing frequent accidents as a major concern.
