Asante Kotoko playmaker, Fabio Gama has called on his teammates to stay focused and win the 2021/22 Premier League season.
Gama has been out of action due to injuries and missed the crucial Super Clash game against their rivals, Hearts of Oak.
The 29-year-old believes the team winning this season’s title is not far from reach with regards to their impressive form.
“We have a long way to go but we are on the right track. Our performance was good but we need to keep it high,” the Brazilian playmaker told ETV Ghana.
“We are winning this season’s title and I hope we do. We’ve have done a great job in the first round.
“We just need to be focused, determined and keep the work up then at the end we will lift the trophy,” he added.
Asante Kotoko currently sit on top of the league table after the end of the first round of GPL fixtures.
They have managed to record 11 wins, drawing four and lost just two games amassing 37 points in the first stanza of the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League season.
