Asante Kotoko lodge complaint over poor officiating in Hearts of Oak stalemate

Asante Kotoko have confirmed that they have lodged complaint against the officiating officials who officiated their matchday 3 game against Hearts of Oak.

Centre referee, Selorm Yao Bless has come under criticisms following his decisions during the game.

The Super Clash ended in a 1-1 draw at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in the ongoing 2022/23 Ghana Premier League on Sunday.

The Porcupine Warriors scored first through Yusif Mubarik before a controversial goal from Caleb Amankwah late in the game helped Hearts of Oak to avoid a defeat.

A club statement, “The club after a careful study of yesterday’s game footage has filed a Complaint with the GFA against the decisions of the officiating officials.”

Yao Bless denied Asante Kotoko two obvious penalty in the second half following tackle on Steven Mukwala and also second half push on Eric Serge Zeze.
