Accra:Entertainment pundit Arnold Asamoah-Baidoo has criticized Bishop Daniel Obinim, the founder of International God's Way Church, for his handling of divorce proceedings with his estranged wife, Florence.
According to Ghana Web, a video circulated on social media showing Bishop Obinim instructing a junior pastor to read out Florence's demands, which reportedly include issues related to properties and their children. Arnold condemned this approach, arguing that making private family matters public undermined Florence's dignity.
Arnold expressed concern about discussing matters involving their children publicly, warning of potential repercussions for them in the future. He emphasized the inappropriate environment where church members disrespect Florence, questioning the wisdom in allowing such actions.
He further criticized Bishop Obinim's public statements, describing them as boastful, and urged him to seek an amicable resolution. Arnold noted that while the pastor has the right to update church members, the manner was inappropriate, highlighting instances of self-aggrandisement in Obinim's comments.
