Asamankese: Apostle Dr Philemon Okoh Agyemang, the Founder and Leader of the Living Yahweh 7TH Day Sabbath Assemblies, has distributed various items to the less-privileged during the funeral of his late father, Nana Baffour Osei Kwabena Okoh, at Asamankese in the Eastern Region.
According to Ghana News Agency, the items distributed included 1,500 pieces of cloth, 500 bags of rice, and free lunch provided for widows. Additionally, a free health screening was organized for the attendees. Apostle Okoh Agyemang stated that the distribution was in accordance with the wishes of his late father, who was the Krontihene of Penim and was buried over the weekend in Asamankese.
Apostle Okoh Agyemang described this charitable gesture as a reflection of his father's lifelong commitment to helping others. He remarked, "This act of kindness is a testament of my father's commitment to serving others and making positive impact in the lives of those around him."
He paid tribute to his late father, describing him as a remarkable man, a devoted father, and a true leader. "My father embodied kindness, generosity, and compassion. May we continue to be inspired by his example and strive to make a difference in the lives of others," Apostle Okoh Agyemang added.
The funeral attracted personalities from different sectors, including ministers of God, politicians, renowned musicians like Pat Thomas, Kofi Bentil, Kumawood actors such as Agya Koo and Christiana Awuni, as well as traditional leaders from regions including Anyaa, Sowutuom in Accra, and Asamankese.
Apostle Okoh Agyemang expressed his gratitude to all who contributed to the event, saying, "Your presence is a testament of the respect and admiration for my father and our family."
