Alleged Suicide Note of Former MTN Employee Surfaces Online

Baku:The alleged suicide note of Bright Gyan Koomson, a former MTN employee and member of Wesley Methodist Cathedral, has surfaced online following his unexpected death. The note, dated September 30, 2026, reportedly outlines the personal struggles that Koomson faced over the past three years.

According to Ghana Web, the note reveals that Koomson had been dealing with depression, addiction, emotional distress, guilt, and financial difficulties. He expressed that his initial attempts to discuss his suffering were dismissed, and those around him failed to acknowledge the severity of his issues.

Koomson admitted that thoughts of ending his life began as early as 2023, and while he penned the note in late 2026, every word was carefully considered over time. He apologized for disappointing those around him, explaining that he could no longer endure his battles with addiction. He urged others to be more attentive to the struggles of their peers.

In the note, Koomson also addressed his father, urging him to listen closely to his children as they, too, might be suffering silently. He expressed understanding for the criticism that might follow his actions and emphasized the importance of recognizing and addressing the pain of young people.
