Alan Kyerematen: A Champion of Culture and Industrialization, Says Alhaji Boniface Saddique

ACCRA: A senior advisor to Alan Kyerematen, Alhaji Boniface Abubakar Saddique, has praised Kyerematen as a champion of Ghana's cultural heritage and a proponent of peace. Addressing chiefs in the Nandom Traditional Area in the Upper West Region, Saddique highlighted Kyerematen's commitment to cultural preservation and his role as a peace advocate during the Caravan Campaign Tour. According to Ghana News Agency, Alhaji Saddique emphasized the influence of Kyerematen's upbringing on his appreciation for tradition. He noted that Kyerematen's father, Dr. Alexander Atta Yaw Kyerematen, established cultural centers across Ghana, instilling in Alan a respect for customs and history. Saddique described Kyerematen as an embodiment of culture, peace, and industrialization, underscoring his suitability for leadership in the country. In a statement in Accra, Saddique elaborated on Kyerematen's dedication to peace, referencing the 2007 primaries of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in Legon. Saddique highlighted Kyerematen' s decision to step aside for Nana Akufo-Addo, prioritizing party unity over personal ambition. This move, he argued, prevented potential discord within the party and demonstrated Kyerematen's leadership qualities. Saddique, who served as Zongo Minister during President Akufo-Addo's first term, also addressed Kyerematen's current independent candidacy. He likened Kyerematen's path to that of other African leaders and historical figures like George Washington, who pursued independence when party systems failed them. Saddique asserted that Kyerematen's Great Transformational Plan (GTP) aims to address pressing issues in Ghana, such as unemployment and economic revival, positioning him as the leader to solve the nation's challenges. The chiefs and elders of the Nandom Traditional Area expressed their appreciation for Kyerematen's visit. Elder Cletus Nyureh, representing the Paramount Chief, Prof Edmund Nminnyem Dell Chiir VIII, conveyed their belief in Kyerematen's vision for Ghana and extended their best wishe s for his leadership aspirations.
