The company has committed to working with the Ministry of Lands and Natural Resources and the Minerals Commission to implement a 12-month turnaround plan.
According to Ghana Web, Adamus Resources Limited issued a press release highlighting the government's supportive stance, which the company views as a significant step toward safeguarding the future of the Adamus mine and its various stakeholders. Under the agreed framework, Adamus and the government will collaborate on a twelve-month roadmap to revitalize the mine. A six-member management team, with equal representation from Adamus and the government, will oversee the implementation of this turnaround program.
The company emphasized the importance of this collaborative approach, noting its potential to preserve a strategically important mining operation in Ghana while protecting the interests of the country and its stakeholders. Adamus has reassured its employees, contractors, suppliers, host communities, and business partners of its commitment to the future of the mine, acknowledging the uncertainty and anxiety that recent developments may have caused.
Adamus Resources expressed confidence that cooperation among all parties-government, employees, financiers, suppliers, and communities-can help overcome the challenges facing the mine. The next milestone will be the presentation of the twelve-month turnaround roadmap to the Presidency within the agreed two-week period.
