Prophet Ogyaba Criticizes Ghana Police Over Inaction on Obinim’s Murder Allegations

Accra:Prophet Ogyaba, the leader of the Holiness of Christ Zion Ministry, has voiced his dissatisfaction with the Ghana Police Service for their alleged inaction regarding Bishop Daniel Obinim's claims of possessing video evidence linking him to a murder.

According to Ghana Web, Ogyaba is frustrated that despite Obinim's assertion of having reported the murder case to the police and providing evidence, the authorities have not taken the necessary steps to question Obinim or prioritize the investigation with the urgency it warrants.

Ogyaba emphasized that if Obinim indeed possesses evidence connecting him to a murder, he should be treated as a person of interest and interrogated by the police. He expressed his disappointment that Obinim continues to address his congregation without being arrested, stating that such serious allegations should have prompted police action by now.

Bishop Daniel Obinim has made daring allegations against Prophet Ogyaba, claiming that based on information and video evidence allegedly provided by social media personality Ohemaa Dynamite, Ogyaba was involved in a murder and the disposal of the body. Obinim addressed his congregation on October 20, 2026, asserting that he had reported the matter to the police and was determined to ensure that Ogyaba is held accountable.

Ogyaba has said he is willing to cooperate fully with any investigation and will report himself to the police upon his return to Ghana to assist with the inquiry.
