He emphasized the shared responsibility of protecting the environment and preserving natural resources for future generations.
The installation ceremony, marking the end of the seven-decade vacancy in the Gyaase stool, was attended by notable figures including Nana Opong Kyekyeku, Chief of Denkyira Tutuampa, and Nana Ampofi II, Chief of Denkyira Faman. The event featured traditional drumming, dancing, and celebrations, especially among the Asona clan in Diaso.
Odeneho Agya-Ameyaw, Chief of the Diaso Traditional Council, welcomed Nana Kwaku Benim and praised his commitment to environmental conservation and peace promotion in the area. He expressed confidence in Nana Kwaku Benim’s capabilities to contribute to the development of Diaso.
Other attending chiefs also encouraged the new Gyaasehene and the Diaso chief to actively engage in community development, emphasizing that this responsibility should not solely be on the government.
