Gideon Boako Plans Free WiFi for Tano North Constituency

Accra:The Member of Parliament for Tano North, Dr. Gideon Boako, has announced a plan to provide free WiFi services throughout the constituency. This initiative aims to enhance internet accessibility for students and residents, facilitating access to educational materials without the cost of internet data.

According to Ghana Web, the initiative, named the MP's Constituency WiFi project, is part of Dr. Boako's commitment to supporting the youth and fostering academic improvement. He highlighted the importance of making educational resources readily available, drawing from his personal experiences with education's transformative power.

Dr. Boako expressed concern about students who struggle to continue their education during vacations due to the inability to afford internet data. He emphasized the critical role of internet access in modern education and the disadvantage faced by those without it. The proposed free WiFi service aims to bridge this gap, allowing students to conduct research and access online learning resources without financial strain.

The service will be implemented across various communities in Tano North, ensuring that residents within these areas can connect to the internet at no cost. Dr. Boako believes this will provide significant academic support, particularly during vacation periods when students often lack access to essential digital resources.
