Mahmoud Kabore Cleared to Contest for NDC Ashanti Regional Communications Officer

Accra:Mahmoud Kabore has been approved to run for the position of Ashanti Regional Communications Officer of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC). He secured the number one position on the ballot paper after successfully passing the vetting process.

According to Ghana Web, Kabore expressed his confidence in leading the party's regional communication department. He emphasized his vision, experience, and commitment to strengthening the party's communication structures. The vetting panel assessed candidates on their capacity to manage their respective roles, and Kabore was pleased with their positive evaluation of his presentation and plans.

Kabore stated that passing the vetting process marks the start of the next phase of the contest, which will require dedication to turn his vision into concrete results. He aims to build on the foundations established by the former Ashanti Regional Communication Officer, Nurudeen Abass Mohammed, and consolidate the communication gains achieved by the party's national leadership, particularly Sammy Gyamfi.

Kabore's goal is to enhance the NDC's communication machinery in the region, making it one of the most effective in the country. He believes a stronger communication department will improve the party's public image and electoral prospects in the 2028 general elections and beyond.

His engagement with delegates has been positive, receiving encouraging feedback throughout the Ashanti Region. Although the selection process is not yet complete in some constituencies, Kabore hopes delegates will consider his vision, experience, and commitment when making their decisions.

Kabore urged delegates to support his candidacy, assuring them of his readiness to collaborate with party members and stakeholders to advance the NDC's communication goals. He believes that effective political communication is vital for strengthening the party's brand and achieving electoral success in future elections.
