Accra:A young couple, Agyeiwaa and her husband, Barnes, are facing a potential divorce due to allegations of infidelity and a dispute over the paternity of their child. The couple sought help on Ahenfie Nkomo, a program on Ahenfie TV dedicated to resolving domestic issues, to address their marital problems after the birth of their child.
According to Ghana Web, Agyeiwaa is pursuing a divorce from Barnes, citing an unsatisfactory intimate relationship as a primary reason. She accused her husband of being unable to fulfill her sexually and claimed their issues extended beyond infidelity accusations.
Agyeiwaa alleged that Barnes doubted the paternity of their child and refused to accept responsibility. She recounted that upon informing Barnes of her pregnancy, he claimed he was incapable of fathering a child and insulted her, including accusing her of bedwetting.
Barnes countered by accusing Agyeiwaa of having an affair with another doctor. During the program, Agyeiwaa admitted to seeking comfort from the doctor whenever she had disagreements with her husband.
The program's host is now expected to facilitate a DNA test to determine the child's paternity. Agyeiwaa insisted that if Barnes is proven to be the father, he should be obligated to support the child financially. Conversely, if the DNA test confirms otherwise, she argued that the doctor involved should assume financial responsibility.
