Prophet Kumchacha Criticizes NDC for Neglect Despite Support

Siena:Prophet Kumchacha, leader of Heaven's Gate Ministries International, has expressed disappointment with the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for neglecting him despite his support for the party while it was in opposition.

According to Ghana Web, the preacher voiced his concerns during an interview on Aluta FM, accusing some NDC leaders, including ministers, Members of Parliament, and chief executives of state institutions, of ignoring his calls and failing to return them. Kumchacha emphasized that these officials should be responsive, warning that their time in office is limited.

He acknowledged certain officials like Agriculture Minister Eric Opoku, GoldBod CEO Sammy Gyamfi, and National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme CEO Eric Adjei for their proactive help towards individuals seeking assistance. Kumchacha noted these leaders often provide aid, sometimes using personal resources.

The preacher criticized other government appointees for blocking contacts, making them unreachable by phone. He urged NDC leaders appointed by President John Dramani Mahama to change their attitude towards supporters who backed the party prior to its return to power.

Kumchacha further highlighted that politicians tend to be more accessible when in opposition but become distant once in power. He advised NDC leaders to be more approachable, emphasizing that not everyone who contacts them is seeking financial help.

Despite his criticisms, Kumchacha mentioned maintaining a good relationship with President Mahama and his wife, Lordina Mahama, and continues to hold them in high regard, though he has not personally benefited from their government.
