Abidjan: Ivory Coast head coach Herv© Renard has named a 24-man squad for the Elephants' 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Ghana. Renard has selected three goalkeepers, eight defenders, six midfielders, and seven attackers for the September/October FIFA international window.
According to Ghana Web, the goalkeeping department comprises Yahia Fofana, Alban Lafont, and Mohamed Kon©. In defence, Renard has named Gu©la Dou©, Kassoum Ouattara, Evan Ndicka, Ousmane Diomand©, Emmanuel Agbadou, Odilon Kossounou, Christ Tap©, and Ghislain Konan.
The midfield options are Ibrahim Sangar©, Franck Kessi©, Christ Inao, Patrick Zabi, Amadou Kon©, and Eddy Dou©. Up front, the Elephants will have Yann Diomand©, Nicolas P©p©, Bazoumana Tour©, Yoan Bonny, Elie Wahi, Yann Gboho, and Ryan Fofana available. Renard will lead the Elephants against Ghana in his first competitive assignment since returning as head coach of the Ivorian national team.
