Accra: The Minerals Commission has warned the public against individuals and unauthorised entities allegedly offering jobs or promising to facilitate recruitment in exchange for money.
According to Ghana Web, the Commission stated that it has not contracted any individual, agent, or group to recruit on its behalf. It emphasized that recruitment into the public service is free and does not require any payment, down payment, or facilitation fee for employment.
The Commission highlighted that all official recruitment opportunities, when available, are advertised through national dailies, its official website, verified social media platforms, and news portals. It urged prospective applicants to rely solely on these official channels and cautioned against dealing with private agents claiming to recruit on its behalf.
The public is encouraged to report any suspicious recruitment offers to the nearest law enforcement agency or through the Commission's official contact channels. The Minerals Commission reaffirmed its commitment to transparency and integrity in its operations.
