Bekwai: The Bekwai Homecoming Group has generously donated GHS50,000 to the Bekwai Government Hospital, aiding the facility in its quest to acquire essential medical equipment and achieve secondary healthcare status.
According to Ghana News Agency, the donation was officially handed over to the hospital's management by the Group's executives, with Mr. Joseph Osei-Owusu (Joe Wise), a former First Deputy Speaker of Parliament and former Member of Parliament for the Bekwai Constituency, leading the delegation. This financial contribution was made possible through the collective efforts and generosity of the Bekwai Homecoming Group members, highlighting the organization's dedication to sustainable development and the improvement of residents' welfare in the municipality.
Dr. Kwame K. Agyemang, who accepted the donation on behalf of the hospital, expressed profound gratitude for the Group's timely support. He emphasized that the funds would significantly enhance the hospital's capacity to deliver quality healthcare services to its patients.
