Accra: The founder and leader of the Zoe Outreach Embassy Church in Ghana, Pastor Kelvin, has accused the Member of Parliament for Akwatia, Bernard Bediako Baidoo, of fraud.
According to Ghana Web, the legislator allegedly orchestrated a grand scheme to sell the properties and land of a company, Air Real Estate Company Limited. Pastor Kelvin alleged that the MP forged documents to win a court case, which permitted him to sell the properties in question.
The pastor claimed that police findings identified Bernard Bediako Baidoo as the mastermind behind the scheme. He accused the MP of creating a fictitious transaction, filing a writ in court through Amoaku Adjei's chambers, executing the writ, obtaining judgment, and subsequently carrying out an auction.
Pastor Kelvin detailed that the MP sold 14 properties and mentioned additional bare land spanning about 8.2 acres that is yet to be addressed. He accused the legislator of using a non-existent identity and business transaction to gain access to those lands and properties.
Pastor Kelvin further explained that an individual named Augustine Ampofo Bediako, allegedly involved in the transaction, cannot be located and had no dealings with Air Real Estate Limited. He stated that neither the company nor its employees were aware of any such transaction. Access Bank also reported no payments made into known accounts associated with Air Real Estate Limited. Pastor Kelvin accused Bernard Bediako Baidoo of fabricating the transaction to sell off the properties, utilizing fraudulent means to win the court case and execute the transaction.
