Ahafo: Robert Sarfo Mensah, affectionately known as Booba, has emerged victorious as the Ahafo Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) following the party's recent regional executive elections. Mensah's leadership will be complemented by a team of newly elected officials committed to steering the party's agenda in the region.
According to Ghana Web, alongside Mensah, key positions were filled, including Nana Antwi Eric, who retained the role of secretary. Prof Marfo was chosen as the first vice chairman, and Citizen Akoto took on the deputy secretary role. In the financial sector, Eugene was elected as treasurer, while Issifu Bawa assumed the position of organiser. The communications office will be led by Nana Adu.
The youth and women's wings of the party also saw new leadership with Ababio being elected as the youth organiser and Emelia Konadu securing the women's organiser position. Barrow was elected as the Nasara organiser. The new regional executives are tasked with revitalising the party's operations in the Ahafo Region as they gear up for the 2028 general election.
