Tima Breaks Down in Tears While Singing a Song That Saw Her Through Darkest Days

Accra: At some of the lowest moments in life, certain songs can evoke deep emotions and bring back memories of difficult times. Media personality Tima Kumkum has recounted how Nigerian gospel musician Moses Bliss' song, 'Too Faithful,' helped her through some of her darkest days.

According to Ghana Web, Tima revealed during an appearance on Joy Prime TV on August 12, 2026, that Moses Bliss' 'Too Faithful' and a song by Ghanaian gospel musician Obaapa Christy were instrumental in helping her navigate a challenging period. Despite having moved past that difficult chapter, Tima admitted that she still becomes emotional whenever she hears 'Too Faithful.'

During the program, when the song was played in the background, Tima sang along and soon became teary, reaching for a tissue to wipe away her tears. She expressed how these songs were a source of strength for her. "Too Faithful by Moses Bliss and also a song by Obaapa Christy. Those songs were the songs that used to keep me through it all. When I am going through it and I start listening to that song.," she shared.

The emotional moment offered a glimpse into the pain and struggles Tima had endured and how the songs had become connected to her journey through those difficult days. Tima also confirmed that she is separated from her husband, Dominic Duodu, with their divorce case currently before the court. She revealed that they have not lived together since April 1, 2025, and considers herself 'partially single' as the divorce is not yet finalized.

In the meantime, The Tima Kumkum Foundation, in collaboration with CLCD Ghana, has announced the maiden edition of the 'Be Inspired by Tima' Women's Conference. The event, scheduled for September 12, 2026, at Villa Vista, East Legon, aims to empower women and promote healing under the theme 'Turning Pain into Purpose.'
