Accra: The Ghana Scholarships Authority (GSA) has initiated the process of interviewing shortlisted candidates for its 2026/2027 Academic Year Local Tertiary Scholarship Scheme. This nationwide interview exercise started on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, and is slated to run until Monday, August 18, 2026. Interviews are being conducted at designated Metropolitan, Municipal, and District Assembly (MMDA) venues throughout the country.
According to Ghana Web, the GSA has advised applicants to regularly check their application portals for updates regarding their interview schedules. Applicants are expected to attend their assigned interview venues with all necessary documents for verification and assessment. The Authority emphasized the importance of adhering to the interview guidelines to ensure a smooth process.
The Ghana Scholarships Authority has reiterated that the application and selection process for scholarships is free of charge. Applicants have been warned against individuals who claim they can facilitate access to scholarships for a fee, as the GSA has not authorized any third parties to assist applicants in exchange for payment.
